Tespen Robotics to attend the autonomous driving conference in Rome

Tespen Robotics will attend “Guida autonoma: dalla sperimentazione a una mobilità nuova. Tecnologie, regole e impatti per l’integrazione nei sistemi di trasporto” on 14 October 2026 at Centro Congressi Roma Eventi - Piazza di Spagna, Via Alibert 5/a, Rome.

Organised jointly by TTS Italia, PAVE Europe and MOST, the conference will bring together public decision-makers, cities, industry, research and civil society to discuss the future of autonomous mobility and its integration into transport systems. Topics include safety, public trust, data and artificial intelligence, urban impacts and governance.

Tespen is developing Ugo, autonomous driving software and a retrofit kit for public transit buses, starting with fixed routes and vehicles that operators already own. Ugo is currently in development in simulation, with hardware and road testing planned as subsequent steps.
